Proptech Transition/Advice

Hi everyone!  Is there anyone able to speak about the Proptech industry and how best to transition into it?  I have three years experience in development and acquisitions (MF and commercial) and am looking to make the jump. Ideally I would be at a start up with under 20 employees with a remote option. What should I be looking for in a start up, any special considerations during hiring and comp? Any particular roles I should consider (I don’t want to be in sales I think)?  I know this is broad but I am looking to make the jump.
