Monogram REIT (NYSE: MORE) - Trying to find out more

Monogram REIT the old -Behringer Harvard Multifamily REIT I. Does anyone know if they are a good/smart company to work for? Associate or Acquisitions Analyst? I know they've been focusing on new Developments and exiting some of the non-core markets. The company is part of a small list of opportunities that i'm interested in pursuing but would like to hear you guys opinion on it.

i don't see or hear about anything wrong with them, but they are heavy on development and i could see them shedding development guys when the music stops (REITs do this), because we are obviously pretty late into the apartment development cycle. that's a bit of a morose perspective but i'm just trying to play devil's advocate and think of any downsides.

You bring up my biggest fear. I want to get in the Acquisition side but we are pretty late in the cycle. Typically in a down turn they are the first ones to go. I'm an Asset Manager right now but it's not as quantitative of a role as my skill set calls for (in other words not challenging enough).

Sometimes private REITs (like Behinger) have a not so great reputation (think ponzi scheme). After checking though Monogram trades on NYSE which I personally view as a strong plus over a private REIT. Sorry don't have a lot of info for you.
