M3 Capital Partners interview next week

Hi,

I will have an upcoming interview with M3 Capital Partner (London office) next week. They are a small RE shop (65 people worldwide with five offices so that's like 10 - 20 people per place) that does both principal investment and advisory services though investing in specialized RE companies. Since I really like this firm I have tried to find all the general information possible when writing my cover letter. However, I still feel under-prepared and hope to get some guidance from you guys. I have these questions/concerns in mind:

1, Any important info about the company, their positions/rep, analysts' day to day work, pay (not important but good to know as an interview indicator I guess), exit options ( again not important but still good to know).
2, Some questions they are likely to ask (competency or technical and if technical which aspects should I focus on). Basically I am asking if they are going to ask RE question, corporate finance questions or both types?
3, Other details I should know...

Appreciate all the help

AM interested in REIB but not sure how M3 is positioned in the market. Did you pull out any interesting information during the interview? btw, did they challenge your RE knowledge?

Hi!I have an interview with them this frida!could you please tell me how it is? is there a business case or is a lot about/technical/competency questions?

thanks a lot!

Hi,

I have a virtual interview with M3 on Monday, could you please tell me what should I expect? Is the first round technical or only fit/competency questions? Many thanks

Hey - I have an upcoming virtual interview with them as well. Do you think you could let me know what sort of questions to expect from it?

Hi guys! Did the interview on Yday. Interview was medium/difficult. some competency - tell us about a time where you made a recommendation after analysing data/ when you helped a team member/ had to complete multiple task. I cannot remember the other two Some questions on the real estate market - for some reason there was one question with a focus on Brazil??? I would advise learning the Macro/politics and demographics of BRIC eonomies. A question on the definition of success. I couldn't remember how many questions there were but I just wanted the dam thing to end asap. Waiting to hear back, probs have not got an offer but I have two offers elsewhere.

Seems like a decent company but I can't really tell you more about it. It was just advertised at Cambridge and I applied. Had a surf through their website and FT on M3 Capital Partners - not much out there. I heard Analyst salaries are around 40-43k so it's pretty decent.

Honestly can't tell you more.

Hi!I did mine but I did not get this questions...was almost everything competency and some easy ones about real estate market, like in which RE assets would you invest now..really different I think! was yours online or face to face?
