Kayne Anderson CRE Debt

Does anyone have any insight into Kayne Andersons CRE debt platform? The CRE debt space under a broader multi-strat umbrella is a space I don't have much insight into. Any insight into Kayne or working on the CRE debt team at a multi-strat firm would be greatly appreciated.

 

About to interview there as well. Recruiters are reaching out for them.

Any insights on the interview? My interview is for an Acquisitions Associate though, so they must have an Acquisition team in the Boca office as well right?

 

Great opportunity. They do a ton in the student housing and senior living space, so that can be a bit niche. They also buy a ton of Freddie Mac B pieces. They do get a ton of respect within KA as they have had some great wins recently. Some of their bets on Senior Living are in a tough place, but the team has enough built up goodwill I wouldn't be worried. They do tend to churn through junior staff, but I'm not sure why.
