Help: JP Morgan RE Asset Management
Hi guys,
Does anyone know about the comp/culture aspects for JP Morgan Real Estate Asset Management team? What are common SA interview questions? How much is acquisitions analyst pay out of UG? Is there also an option to relocate to SF or is the position based only in NYC/LA? How have their funds performed recently? Are they more of a core fund or opportunistic (I'm seeing both from my data leaning towards core but just want to confirm) How are the learning experiences/exit opps compare to doing IB at a MM bank?
Thank you!

There is no “acquisitions analyst” at JPM. Analysts do AM, and some get to do acquisitions along with their AM responsibilities, it’s case by case. Cultures the best in the business.
Thank you, this is helpful. Do you have any info on comps by chance?
30-40% bonus. Salary is 110k
Is that AM associate comp market for the street? Currently at $130 + $70 with a small piece of carry; likely getting a promo to VP in a few months…
Yes that’s market, take into account folks do both AM and acquisitions. Not sure what solely AM gets
I have no idea what bonus is** for solely AM. Base is the same
