Eastdil Secured - Analyst Interview

Has anyone had experience with interviewing for Eastdil's equity sales group? This is for the analyst position in a major metro.

From what I've seen, it seems that you are interviewed with everyone in the sales group with fit questions, brainteasers, and some RE/finance fundamental questions followed by an excel/argus test. In terms of pay it I hear it is 65-70k base, with 100-120k all-in, but that does come with the IB hours of 75+.

Does anyone know the details of the questions asked during the interview or the complexity of the exam? Also any other additional information would be welcomed.

They directly recruit from Penn, a friend secured his analyst job straight from on campus recruiting. Note: he is not a Wharton student, graduated from the school of arts and sciences

At my school Wells and Eastdil had people from both companies at the same information session, and I believe the poster above was correct that they have jobs on the Wells website.

They're interview process is pretty rigid. First of all, make sure you dress like a champion. A ton of the guys in the DC office wear bowties daily so I would suggest wearing one. Been in a bunch of meetings with them and they're all about it. It is a really good company so if you landed a spot there it would be pretty dope. Just make sure you are on your p's and q's during the interview. Nice work man and good luck.
