Brookfield Real Estate London

Can someone provide insight into these guys? Saw an Investment Analyst posting focusing on hotels which is right up my alley. Would love to get some intel on what comp is at Brookfield London for Investment Analysts (not asset management or other roles), wlb, culture, returns, etc. Also Associate pay as I suspect that would have more visibility given the few analysts that work there. Anyone been through the process recently and can share insight? Seems very hard to get intel on this forum on Brookfield overall and especially post covid raises.

Bump also curious. One downside I can see is the office in canary wharf, might be because they own the place though.

Brookfield is no joke in Europe. They bought three REITS in the last 6ish months and sold a huge student housing company to GIC. Some of the saviest and savage investors around. Very curious on AN and ASO pay there as well.

To the comment above, Canary Wharf has its pros and cons. Huge financial hub, doesn't even feel like London really (more like an NYC in the making with the skyscrapers). You're near a bunch of banks for networking (JPM, CS, MS, Barclays, etc.), but a lot of the big buyside players are in Mayfair and the city. And CW is definitely improving over the years.

OP did you apply/ get an interview? Curious if they use headhunters or directly apply

How does this compare to peers like BX, KKR, STWD, etc. in London? And any comp data on other buckets of shops like SWFs or canadian pensions for Analysts? Thinking of making a move over the pond, but the financials have to make sense.

Heard the same, low bonus with carry to make you on par with street (or higher since it is dependent on fund performance). Smart move from them to keep talent locked in early, but also off-putting for applicants. This is for Aso, not sure about Analysts.
