Any Canadian's move/recruit to the US for REPE?

Hey everybody!

Had a questions for the Canadians on this forum. Currently a Canadian undergraduate graduating very soon. Have some internship experience with a REPE firm and Canadian pension fund for real estate. However, I would like to move to the US for full-time as a Canadian citizen.

My question is: has anybody moved from Canada to the US in order to pursue REPE (non US citizen)? Did you do this after undergrad or as an internal transfer, or later on in your career? Which firms sponsor? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
