I know of at least one of their port co’s is best case a 1x. Not sure how exposed they were overall though. They have had volatile performance overall which 18 months ago was causing LPs to question them. I think if they show strong performance in latest Fund then they should be fine though

Some data according to public sources when googling "[fund name] returns" filetype:pdf as of 12/31/2022:

  • 3% IRR on 2011 vintage
  • 12% on 2015 vintage
  • 0.1x DPI on 2018 vintage with IRR NM given early in cycle

Rumored to be fundraising a $4B fund V back in 2021, but have not fully closed 2+ years into that process. On the spectrum of their investment strategy being cool and unique vs simply a dud, data suggests the latter and LPs seem to have noticed.

Very helpful and thank you. Very different results from the hype in prior years threads
