PE “Technical” Round

Hey guys,

Got an interview coming up with a special situations group (think BX TacOps). They mentioned that the next round would be a technical round but not a model/case since that would be the next round.

Any thoughts on what this might be about? So far I have the following:

Paper LBO
M&A Model (Merger Math)
Options/Dilutive Securities
Returns Analysis

They mentioned excel won’t be allowed and you can only use pen and paper. Any ideas?
