Help! CS/UBS FT or K1 Private Equity
If you guys had an offer at both which would you take in this current environment? Factoring in experience, comp, exit opps, and job function?
- CS/UBS: bigger platform can set me up for potentially better PE exits after, comp is higher, junior experience might not be terrible after cs acquisition (think TMT)
- K1: smaller shop still pretty solid from what I hear, comp is low (below market level), heard mixed reviews on exit opps/dont know much, caliber of colleagues may or may not be up to par as cs/ubs but hear execution team gets good experience and get worked. Small office in Manhatten Beach
Open to hear your guys thoughts on this as I need to make a decision soon. Any insight is appreciated and thanks a ton in advance.
Go to K1, no one knows what is going to happen to CS/UBS roles (even the seniors at those banks)
