Is it true that at GS NY...

...all the secretaries are recruited from model and actress schools/agencies and
are therefore smokin slap-yourself-in-the-face-and-jerk-off hot? I heard this from
an ex-GS-banker, who claimed they do this because this is basically the only way
these bankers ever get to look at beautiful women. I also heard that the VPs and
especially MDs regularly date/fuck these ladies. Happens a lot after employee-only
(no spouses/SO's allowed) parties. They don't sue for sexual harrasment b/c they
make so much money and probably liked being banged by a rich MD anyways.

Could someone confirm this? I'm seriously thinking about moving to GS from my
current employer (another BB), and would obviously be interested to know the
details about this one.

My room-mates's older brother is a 2nd year IBD associate at GS and has repeatedly bemoaned how ugly and butch the girls there are. Moreover, he had pretty decent game and I've seen him consistently pull some beauts back in the day when he was an MBA here, so it's not the classic case of the ugly nerd who can't get any claiming he doesn't want any.

Anyway, he underscored that point at least several times when we visited him at his apartment a few months ago, which leads me to believe if the secretaries were as noteworthy as you say, he would have mentioned them. I think it also stands to reason that the women of GS probably wouldn't put up with those kind of overtly chauvinistic patterns in the hiring process.

 

Maybe some guy hired a model etc, im sure its not firm policy. I have seen all sorts of secretaries in various companies from old fat ladies to young model types.

Some probably do go out to hire hotties that they can bang and put in front of clients and behind their desk.

I know one manager in my company who as a absolute gorgeous secretary everyone wishes they had a chance but you can bet your bonus he is bangin her on a regular basis.

 

I DO believe that A LOT of bankers get it on with their secretarial support. This is affirmative.

In fact, I personally know 3 bankers who dated or had affairs with their secretaries, and in fact 2 of them married them! No lie.

 

There's an analyst (an ANALYST!) in my group that regularly taps new secretaries. The senior bankers aren't doing them, on the other hand. I suppose the only thing better than doing your secretary is doing everybody else's? Kudos to him is all I got to say.

 

One of the bankers I was referring to was actually an analyst who kept dating the assistant thru B-school and they got married post-MBA.

Anyways, the phenomena happens a lot with attorneys as well... IB and attorneys work such long hours in the office side-by-side with their secretaries that inevitably after an office get together when folks have been drinking, one thing leads to another and all the sexual tension erupts and voila!

In B-school we had a banker from a BB NY come in for a private equity forum. He introduced this blonde as his assistant... when we all went out for drinks with the banker it was obvious the blonde was more than his assistant :-)

 

I would rather have a good hot one.

Would make sure the filing cabinets are nice and low, so she has to bend over when she does some work.
