International student asking for advice

Hi there,

I am a high school senior who's an international student from China going to Stanford for undergrad next year. I have a background in starting a small-scale start-up, a nonprofit, and cancer research (published two papers), and I hope to study Human Biology and Economics at Stanford. I am going to have a PE internship in China the summer before college at a firm that has around $20B AUM. My family is pretty well connected in China, but I don't know how much that can be transferred into the U.S. In the future, I want to break into IB or PE and preferably go to the East Coast. I was wondering if you guys have any advice for me in terms of networking, recruiting, and prepping throughout college.

Thank you.
