DB has better exit opps as a whole because of a stronger historic reputation, RBC however has better deal flow and has had better deal flow for a while. Thus, purely for exits: DB, and for longer-term banking/experience: RBC. To preempt backlash from RBC analysts, Ik some groups at RBC are better than the average DB group, but overall: DB groups will on average place better than RBC just purely due to their historic reputation even if the bank is worse than RBC.

Yeah, the only reason I’m considering it is I really like P&U and RBC has a really good P&U group
DB as a whole for multiple reasons. RBC is weaker globally, and will rarely lead deals.
I think especially if you can get a decent team at DB it will be a better gig overall
