Am I supremely fuc*ed?
I am an international student at a non target in Canada (TBH top 5 in Canada but not non target globally). I’m in my fourth year with and a shit grade of 3.3. Realistically, I don’t aim very high. I am aware the max I can achieve is probably mid market Canadian investment bank. I have had some good experiences in the past. Last one was in a good investment bank in my home country that gave me some solid hands on deal experience. I don’t have anything lined up for the summer and I haven’t gotten any interviews yet (I think because of my shit grades). However, before I got my IB experience, I got a lot of good IB/PE/PC interviews(all from mid market banks). Considering I don’t aim for BB am I fuc*ed? Would love some real advice on what to do.
✌️
Network man. I’m at a B5 here in Canada with a gpa that’s worse than yours.
You still need to know your stuff cold, but Canada is more network heavy than the USA given how few seats there are.
Can I add you on LinkedIn? 👉🏻👈🏻🥹
who wouldn't want 'yomamainmypants69' as a LinkedIn contact?
Mans said you gotta network, I start now🔥
RBC or BMO M&A?
Impressive if either of those two w/ sub 3.3
