I've spoken to a labor lawyer about what a background check will show. There will be nothing in your history that explains reason for leaving JPM. It will only confirm dates of employment. Can't advise you on the best approach in terms of being fully forthcoming, but unless they know through back channels, it won't surface through the process itself.
