Women who stayed in banking

Hi everyone! This post is directed towards women but if you went through a similar situation as a son please feel free to advise. Thanks.
I'm from a conservative/religious family where everything seems great on the surface. But I was sexually assaulted early on in college & my college made my life so incredibly difficult by refusing to provide my transcript unless I signed a form to release them of liability. The legal system is tough, slow & hurt me for years. I suffered a lot of abuse from this person & as I was a child <18 it broke me.

My family tried everything to help in the 1st 2 years. This took 7 yrs of my life & I restarted college. Recently, I learned my father had been abusing my mother all along & he is truly an awful person. He is physically, emotionally, financially & sexually abusive towards her in their marriage. The facade of a normal childhood is now ashes. My mother gave up everything to take care of me & I feel tremendous guilt as she would have been much more successful than me. I feel totally broken & the man who did this to me reappeared in our lives via stalking a few months ago. Stalking has next to no meaningful recourse in the law. My mother's chronic health issues became worse & she developed cancer.

I reached a point of feeling exhausted with life & have medical issues of my own to fix. I feel like the worst person alive & seeing my father's abuse daily has left me feeling scared of everything. I lose focus in reg convos (only with him). I feel dumb & slow & worthless as a human being. I have no immediate family near me or siblings. I must save my mother & feel like my identity no longer exists as my father was someone I looked up to all my life.

I always wanted children & it breaks my heart I may not have them. Women who have been through severe abuse, how did you find a way out? Are you in a better place now? There are no supports available to me due to my dad's $ which we get none of. I feel like I'm living in an eternal hell. I read stories of women whove done incredible things after having so little. I live in constant fear where everything looks fine on the surface but I feel so broken.

Do you have any recds of a small job I could in banking? I just need to make around $100-150 k per year. I feel so guilty not having fam to support in the future but at this pt. I just want to find a way to save my mom and live. I fear we'll die young. Thanks. Domestic violence is so much worse than is known. I pray if you're in a similar situation that you are saved.

Qs:
If you grew up w/ severe domestic violence, how did you make it out?

If you work in banking as a woman & suffered abuse (marriage etc.) what advice would you give young women today?

Is it uncommon for female bankers to not have any kids? Thank you.

Please understand. On my second day in the office I got yelled at for 10 minutes for wearing a dark blue shirt since my boss liked everyone to wear white or light colors. I was called about 20 different kinds of stupid in a span on 3 minutes and my entire team heard this ordeal.

You should NOT be going into banking with your background. I don’t mean this in a demeaning way, but rather the industry is very mean to put it lightly.
