Posting under anon. for obvious reasons. As someone who has experimented with most (whether recreational or for studying) for the better part of a decade although have been clean for the last 4 years, I can't see why anyone would see this as a positive.

Adderall: Depending on how you react to the drug, you'd either be bouncing off the walls at your desk, or have a cracked out look in your eyes whenever someone tries to talk to you. You're also more likely to get distracted and zone in on other things aside from work. Unless you're ripping this during WFH, I can't see a good outcome from this. If you need Adderall to move around logos in PPT or link cells in Excel, sounds like you just have a drug dependency and IB isn't for you.

Recreational drugs: This is a terrible idea even if your co-workers are your homies. I vaguely recall a bank (Citi or BMO?) that recently caught a bunch of their juniors doing blow at the office and canned all of them. Even outside of work, your state of mind changes on drugs and sometimes you can't control what you say. Or someone might snap a photo of you with some white dust under your nose. If that gets leaked, say goodbye to your career. Long story short, don't shit where you eat.

You probably think I'm a Karen, but I've lived that life and just making sure you got your head on straight before you try to mesh your professional life with recreational activities.

I’m the caterpillar comment guy, but I was just fucking around lmao. Only drug i realistically expect to need is caffeine and maybe some pre workout if shit is really hitting the fan and there’s a fire drill

You won't find it if you're not looking for it (or at least I hope). There's no expectation for you to participate in using hard drugs at any firm on the street, even if the rest of the team is doing it behind closed doors. Conduct yourself with with professionalism and save the debauchery for a night out with your non-work friends.
