What do investment bankers often lack when transitioning to other careers?

Currently An1 at an EB, and I've always seen this as a stepping stone rather than a long-term career path. I know that IB gives you a significant boost in the finance world and can help you transition into most finance careers. But, im not really convinced about this. Is it really like this?

What skills or knowledge do you think investment bankers might lack, which could make it difficult for them to transition to certain finance careers?
