Honestly neither are really relevant to IB unless you plan on switching to something like AM after.
Agreed. I've cleared all 3 levels but IB really don't care. If you really have bandwidth and are bored (which I doubt), go for CFA
Agree with the above, I cleared level 2 and can confirm that the CFA does not move a finger nor adds a lot of value in M&A - being likeable will help you much more.
CFA if you’re willing to invest the 900+ hours required to study and pass all three levels. I’ve passed Level III and will say that it’s not too helpful for M&A. That being said, I genuinely enjoyed the curriculum and found that it’s given me a deeper and more holistic understanding of the industry.
It will also help you build rapport with other charter holders, and can add to your overall credibility/credentials, but there are better ways to spend your time if you’re purely doing this for career development.
