Got summer analyst offers from a middle market group at a well-respected bank, as well as a PE secondaries position at a top 25 (according to PEI) shop. I'm not sure whether I want to silo myself in secondaries this early, but it's also difficult to resist the name. Does anyone have experience choosing between IB and secondaries, and if so, do you have any advice at all about which to take? Would greatly appreciate any advice!
