Ground floor. I'm a security guard at a BB. More prestigious than my lads at Wells Fargo
Used to work in the suburbs pre-MBA. Floor 13. We had a bigger office space pre-COVID (had 70-80% of the floor by the time I quit, it was like 40% since most people were remote). Had a pretty cool view of a professional sports stadium and a local university's sports facilities but that's about it. Our Manhattan office had some decent views but I rarely used that one.
3rd floor of a 3 floor office. It's not in a super big city so it's taller than most of the nearby buildings, most of the taller buildings are a bit away from the downtown section. I don't have an office so I don't get a view of the city, but those who do can see a bit, depending on which way they're facing.
50th, nice views but gets boring quick
I was on the 30 something floor in downtown SF. Pretty cool view. You could see both bridges, transamerica, Salesforce tower etc. Basically anything notable in SF you could see from there. 360 degree view because we had the whole floor. I caught the sunrise one morning during an early meeting and it looked great.
I’m in NY now in a lower floor. We look out on koreatown, not much view just the buildings across the street.
31st floor - not NYC. Pretty cool view on two sides of the building
Thank you for your value-added comment. Are you a VP?
No, I'm a 2nd-year analyst in valuation, not IB directly.
Was on the 26th floor in Midtown and the 48th floor in FiDi. Both had stunning panoramic views. Gets old after a while, and ends up making you feel like you're in a glass prison.
Now I'm on the 3rd floor of a 3 floor building that I never go to and and dramatically happier.
At the best floor for taking an additional person out when I jump
"*On* what floor do you work?"
Fixed lol
lol thanks bro - you da man
I had a typo on page 87 (appendix) of the pitchbook so they put me in the basement. Can't complain, having some distance from my MD lets me nap at my desk when I'm waiting for comments.
Work in a garden-level office. On the plus side, at least I'm not Milton in the basement!
Single digit floor cause any higher, jumping out would be fatal
Envious of Lazard bankers with their 64th floor midtown views.
