NYU Stern VS Umich Ross VS UVA McIntire

Not even enrolled into college as a high school senior but really interested in figuring differences of schools lmao. School comparing threads again.

Which would be better for NY IB recruitment in terms of placement per capita/the reputation of firms? Currently concentrating on sell-side.

Basically all above are great schools with wonderful networking opportunities as well as solid alumni resources. Neither of them can go wrong but what are the tiny differences between those schools? Will Stern be slightly above the edge than others or they are just kinda same?

UVA might be my priority as Umich hardly admits kids without US backgrounds during freshman application (as a 100% Chinese kid) and so does Ross, to a greater extent. NYU Stern is hard to get into as well, the competition can be intense. I'm not considering having nothing on campus but only buildings and buildings. I personally favor a campus life. Chance of admission can be the best if I'm applying to UVA during ED round as an international applicant. UVA tends to be the reachable option among the three.

btw is UVA mcintire located on the edge between target school and semi-target, are Umich ross and NYU stern the same?
lol. Any ideas & comments? People are throwing bananas with no comments left.

Thanks! Which bank are you working at, and could you elaborate the difference between umich and uva a little bit?

Is this simply counting people's heads or comparing placement per capita from the school?

Purely for landing NY IB, Stern is the best out of these three. However, all of them are very good for breaking into IB, so go with the one you think you'll fit best in. NYU has a ton of international Chinese students, so that might make it a good choice from a social aspect. But like you said, NYU doesn't have a campus; for a traditional American college experience you'll be much better served at Michigan and UVA. Good luck!

stern by far imo for placement but would consider ross if you want more of a traditional campus experience. wouldn't rly consider uva esp bc its not direct admit

Is there's a slim difference between placement of Stern VS Ross/Mcintire, or the difference can be big?

Not having direct admit may not be a problem. Kids get internship before enroll to Mcintire, after all

i think stern preps kids better than any other school besides wharton through upperclassmen and clubs. palcement is semi-comparable to ross not rly comparable to mcintire

that said... mich sounds like such a good time. UVA is chill too but Virginia humidity can be tough. NYU Stern is... competitive (internally) from what I hear (and no campus). NYC is a blast but you will end up there anyways. But if it fits your bill, go for it. You will get an offer regardless these schools are looked at identically.
