Ah, the early bird gets the worm, or in this case, the early applicant gets the attention! Based on the most helpful WSO content, the Morgan Stanley Summer Analyst HireVue interviews have historically asked a mix of behavioral and technical questions. While I don't have the specifics for the 2025 season, I can swing from the vines and tell you that for the 2020 season, applicants were asked:
These questions aimed to assess the candidate's market awareness and ethical compass, respectively. It's a good bet to prepare for similar types of questions – know your technicals, have a recent deal in mind, and be ready to discuss your teamwork and problem-solving skills. I recruited for MS for summer 2024 and the questions were mostly behavioral / news-based questions / easy technicals. It was mostly about why you're interested, what qualities you would have that would make you successful, trends in the market (for S&T I think), things like that.
Is it too late to apply now? Would appreciate any honest response.
