London IB internship WITHOUT a EUROPEAN language fluency
Is it possible that multiple previous IB internships plus competitions plus leadership positions plus First Class can MAKE UP for lack of fluency in any language European that isn't English – in order to stand a reasonable competitive chance in London 2024 IB internship applications in the current market (assuming applications are submitted as late as Septembe-end/October)?? What if business fluency exists only for a NON–EMEA/Asia (completely-irrelevant) language (asides being a native English speaker of course)??
Is it true that being English-only is an absolutely deal-breaker for internships applications to GS/MS/JPM (or BBs)?
Yes only speaking English is a disadvantage, no it's not an absolute deal breaker. Depends on the quality of these IB internships (everyone has competitions & leadership positions & good grades). The world ain't black or white ffs, just shoot your shot and you'll get your answer.
Considering how your post reads I don't think it's the languages that'll be the issue
Use English sir
Should be more concerned about submitting your application late. Many IB apps have been open since 1st september - these banks get thousands of hirevues as well.
