Help! Accepted offer: what happens next?

Hello, chimps.

I received an offer letter from a BB in London 3 weeks ago. I accepted it, and then started the background check (and it's ongoing yet). My job starting date is in 2 weeks and I need to relocate.

I would like to know is:

What are the next steps?
How I will know that the background check is completed?
It will be completed before my job starting date?
I still need to sign the job contract, or is the offer that I signed at the beginning is the contract letter?

Many thanks!
