meh, seems standard
Should us in the UK just convert those figures to sterling? Or are bonuses not set internationally?
that suntrust comment is hilarious. those guys will be lucky to get $20k.
I find it surprising that anybody believes that one BB will pay more than another

What's the deal with MS and JPM paying $10-$15K less? Any thoughts on how accurate this is?
I went from two years in consulting to PE, so I'm not the most qualified person to make a judgement here - but do those third year figures seem accurate? I had no idea there was a pay gap of this magnitude between "market" comp in IB vs. PE for candidates with the same tenure (i.e., 3rd year IB analyst vs. 1st year PE associate). Unless I've been mislead by ex-bankers in my current associate class, I thought that third year comp was closer to $200K at the top BB firms (perhaps performance determines some of this).
the numbers you see are just bonus - total comp for third years will be around $230-250K for top tier
