Consulting SA --> IB Full Time

I was wondering if anyone had advice regarding the possibility of going from a consulting internship in summer of 3rd year, to investment banking for full time, and if it is possible, what would be the best way to try and go about it. Would prefer to work in North America.

Key Info: 3.9 GPA, semi-target school, private equity focus in summer consulting internship for a non-MBB shop
