Women’s Clothing

If anyone could share insight on women’s clothing in the office that would be great!

Interested in hearing about what casual outfits are usually worn (pants, top and shoes), good brands for regular office wear and typical jacket brands (Patagonia? Or do women wear sweaters and other brands?)

Women's clothing in the office can vary depending on the company culture, industry, and specific dress code policies. While maintaining a professional appearance is important, also prioritize comfort and mobility. Opt for clothing that allows you to move freely and perform your job effectively without feeling restricted or uncomfortable throughout the day.Choose appropriate footwear that is comfortable and professional. Closed-toe shoes are generally preferred, such as pumps, loafers, or dress shoes. Ensure that your shoes are clean and well-maintained.

the key to office attire is definitely in your tops. Get a good selection of blouses and just a couple pairs of pants in different colors and mix and match for a bunch of different outfits. To stay warmer in the office a nice knit sweater is nice, nothing too oversized and limit the patterns, a plain knit sweater is always safe, also cardigans or open casual blazers are great to keep with you in case you get a little chilly

When it comes to casual office outfits, opt for well-fitted neutral slacks or ankle-length trousers paired with blouses or button-down shirts. Closed-toe flats, low heels, or loafers are suitable footwear choices. Brands like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and J.Crew offer classic office wear, while blazers from Calvin Klein and cardigans from J.Crew can add a polished touch. Patagonia is better known for outdoor wear, so consider brands like Brooks Brothers or Express for office-appropriate jackets. Adapt your style based on company culture and industry norms for a professional yet comfortable look.
