ER is a good role and has solid exit paths

Is it possible to do same coverage SA ER to FT IB?
yes, I was interviewing with someone from a EB and he went from ER SA to EB IB FT.
Yes. One of the more competent bankers I have worked with not only interned in ER but was there FT for like 2 years. It absolutely can be done.
You just need to frame your experience as something to the effect of “I thought I ER was for me but it wasn’t. Through that experience I learned that IB is what I wanted to do because [insert reason].” You also need to make sure you interview well. You will be competing for a far smaller number of slots
