Private Credit
Does anyone have a list of staffing agencies that facilitate recruitment for private credit candidates/funds? I know Long Ridge Partners, SG Partners, Oxbridge Group are among the few.

Hi toyota@1231, don't worry, the WSO Monkey Bot is here.... I'm hoping one of these links will help find your answer:

Hope that helps.
I’d avoid SG Partners. Had multiple negative experiences with them myself and have heard numerous anecdotal similar experiences from others.
Unfortunately don’t have many others to add to your list, but I did secure my current role through Bluemont. I had a great experience with them but can’t speak to their reputation or others’ experiences.
Thank you for responding
Mind elaborating on why SG was bad to work with, more specifically. Asking because I’m actively engaged in a process with them and they send me decent roles (at least for real estate)
Blanket statements probably aren’t fair, if you’ve had a good experience with them then of course continue using them. I wanna say I used them for banking/sponsor finance or private credit.
Worst thing for me, though, was setting up an interview and then ghosting me. Basically submitted my resume to a role I said I’d be interested in hearing more about (only things I knew were the company name and like one sentence on the role), and when that materialized with an interview (somehow), the recruiter went dark. Didn’t give me any info on the position, didn’t say who I’d interview with … all I had was a date, time and zoom link. Super embarrassing to have to tell the interviewer I actually had no idea what the role was. Tried to reschedule after the fact and do my process directly through the firm but it was too late at that point.
I stopped using SG after that. I’m always getting emails from a new person at their firm like every few weeks/months for nearly 2 years now. I’ve asked they delete my resume and contact info from their systems which usually gets no response or is ignored and said recruiter keep emailing me anyways lol.
Probably my biggest pet peeve with them was the roles. A lot of them seemed like good roles, don’t get me wrong, but I came to find plenty of them were just public postings. It wasn’t like some inside track or proprietary sourcing, it was just some lackey scouring job boards for postings then making it seem like it was something special they could get my application submitted for.
Browse WSO, too. You’ll probably find other people trashing SG, I know I have in the past. But again, if they’ve been a good source and partner for you, keep using them. There’s so many recruiters at these shops, not all of them are going to be bad. My advice is more general, like I wouldn’t put SG at the top of the list if you’re looking for agencies to help you find a job.
