Division FP&A vs. Revenue Management

Hello,

I have 3.8 years of finance experience. I started in Corporate Development right after college. Then I took a position as an FP&A Analyst.

I currently have two offers:

1) FP&A for a publicly traded company. This position is similar in to what I am currently doing. This is more focused on Forecast of spend and Capital Expenditures; Variance Analysis; Budgeting; and Strategic Plans.

2) Pricing Analytics/Revenue Management. This position would be new for me, and would entail Price Elasticity, Regression Analysis, Pricing Modeling.

Just want to get opinions from the forum of one position versus the other in terms of work. Let's assume that compensation are the same,

Thanks.
