Can I tell my boss I hate my job?

Recently started a new job. It's horrible. Bosses get the sense I am not happy. They have asked what they can do to 'support' me, etc.. I have a suggestion as to how I can add value and also avoid the part of the job that drives me to tears. Wondering if being candid will get me fired?

Is this a job you have been looking for awhile? Based on info given, I would say there are ways to phrase feedback for your role without being too direct. Why don't you like your job?
