Litigation vs. Management Consulting

hey guys... i need some help here choosing between two offers. one is with a top litigation/economic consulting firm such as NERA/Analysis Group, and one is with the MBBs. I'm trying to choose between the two.

Granted, the MBB seems to be more prestigious, but I have an interest in getting an MBA or JD or combination after two years and am interested in the work litigation consulting entails. Would taking an offer from a litigation consulting firm hurt me? How are such firms perceived? The litigation firm I am currently considering has amazing b-school and law-school placement with a huge percent going to hbs or stanford (i'm wondering if its even better than mbb). Given that i might want to pursue law, does it make sense? also, if i ever want to do p/e in the future, would going to a litigation firm severely limit that opportunity? thanks

MBB keeps any door open that litigation does, so why go for lower prestige unless you are SURE that law and law alone is the place you want to be in your career.
