Internships vs. LSE
I hold an offer for LSE's MSc International Political Economy. Right now, I am applying to business analyst internships in F500s in the Netherlands, and am in the interview stage for a few. If I get a 6-12 month internship, would it be wise to defer my LSE offer to 2022/23?
My goal is to work in business strategy (consulting/F500) after graduating, but I am open to other roles.

Okay
If you are able to attend LSE after the Internship, I would probably go with the Internship first. It puts a solid professional experience on your resume, one you probably would have struggled to combine with studies. Meaning, when you are in your MSc studies, you do not only get the benefit of LSE, but also the previous Internship experience. Imagine you compete with another MSc student, what is the distingushing factor? Extracurriculars and professional experience, right? However, this is only my POV and what I would have done, cannot really tell if it is the best path to pursue.
Moreover, I think this would require the Internship/Trainee position to be 12 months, otherwise you have 6 months to fill up with something else.
Noticed know that this was a very old post, my bad. How did you end up doing btw?
