Early application deadline vs regular

Hi all,

So I found out today that Oliver Wyman's 2024 full time consultant early application deadline was on June 30th despite many websites saying that recruiting "runs year round", and so I still applied because they have one more deadline on September 10th for regular application. How much exactly does applying by the early deadline boost one's application and will it mean the difference between being invited to interview or not? (For context I'm graduating in 2024 from a target school).

I want to second this feeling- although I found out the deadline before it actually happened, not all of their offices were represented in the early application. I noticed there were several offices/locations (mainly the ones I am interested in) that weren’t included in the first round of applications. Hoping the second round will be different
