Big Four to MBB Consulting, top school but low GPA

Hi,

I’ve been working at the big four consulting for 3 years (in Canada, but US answer are welcome) , graduated from a top engineeirng school/program but with low GPA (in the 2.5’s, but in my last year I got 3.5 and last year was the hardest in an engineering program)

Anyways , was hard enough for me to get into big four consulting with the low GPA but eventually I did through networking and doing a really strong case interview.

I am thinking about pivoting to one of the MBB /O.W/Kearney/Accenture where they focus on strategy consulting (not in strategy right now been doing implementation /advisory type consulting )

My question is:

1) how much do they care about GPA if I’m not applying for analyst level but a senior analyst/associate consultant position since I have a bit of experience under my belt from big four consulting.

2) How willing are they to take someone from big four (non strategy) into MBB/OW/Kearney type firms? As long as I can show my portfolio and ace the interview?

Thanks

-Peter
