you'll be in a significant disadvantage if you go to baruch for masters.
What is the significant disadvantage and what are basing your opinion on? Knowing nothing about the Baruch program specifically, the school has a decent reputation and certainly good enough for big 4. Maybe not the top MS accounting program ( think UVA, U-Mich), but I think you can easily get a job with the Big 4 if you do well there.
Texas has the #1 MS Accounting program.
