JP Morgan Funds Management Role

I haven't seen anything about funds management specifically for JP Morgan groups that are client focused.

If you have worked in this role or know more about it could you please clarify what funds management would entail?

As an intern, what are the main tasks you would receive? Market research, modeling, etc?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I haven't worked in the field, but I know that a funds manager is basically the same thing as an asset manager. They perform a lot of the same tasks. I have an asset management internship coming up this summer, and I will be performing many mundane tasks, such as updating CRM systems, writing reports, and as you know, you will be performing that no matter where you work as an intern. So get ready for the mundane tasks of the field, but also try to learn as much as possible about the specific parts of the job that you would particularly like.
