Great idea. Definitely interested. I have a couple of questions though:
What exactly is included with a license? Is it just technical and fit interview guides? Are any modelling courses included? gmat prep software?
In addition, roughly how much is a license per student? If you feel more comfortable sending a PM with this information please do.
Thanks Patrick, I look forward to this (promoting WSO should be a piece of cake since I already do it)

ha, I assume this is sarcastic but all credit should be given to my main sales guy, michael...he'll be managing the campus reps through May / June, then we plan on promoting one of the best reps to manager.

Hey LIBOR, the bulk licenses are only for an annual license to the career/interview guides. This can be anywhere from 1 to all 11 guides (the more the club/career center order, the cheaper is becomes per guide / per student).
We have affiliate deals for financial modeling (if you go through WSO you get the free Powerpoint module) and with Veritas for gmat prep (10% off as WSO user), but we don't sell those directly. For more info., feel free to send michael a PM or email...we'll give much more detail to the users selected into the program.
Thanks,
Patrick

We would love to hear from International Students. The opportunity to become a rep is open to any and all colleges and universities through US, Canada, and Abroad.

I was actually just talking to Mike a few weeks ago about specifically targeting more Canadian schools, so we could definitely use the help since neither of us have contacts there.
Thanks

All applications will be considered, there are both benefits and negatives as you most likely have more contacts than a younger individual, however you don't have as much time on campus to help develop the brand.
Feel free to continue asking questions and I will get to them as I can.
Love the idea but I'm not
Love the idea but I'm not sure what the extent of the content is. I know a lot of it is aimed at IBD stuff, which I personally think is great. However, many college students I talk to (I run the schools investment club and business student association) are too intimidated by IBD. This year, (we're a non-target liberal arts school), including myself, we'll have 2 people going into IBD. I know of one student who is going for an IBD internship this summer and will graduate next year that will be doing IBD.
My main concern is whether or not there's stuff available for students going to other parts of Finance/Accounting. I do know we used to have a subscription to vault.com through our career services that we no longer have because no one used it (this was a few years ago before I came on campus).

If anyone is looking for use
If anyone is looking for use cases to license guides out for your school club:
I put together a "Landing Your First Job" event for the finance club at my school, where I flew in an alumni that recruits for Google to give a crash course on getting hired. I licensed out 40 technical interview guides to hand out during the event, and it was a huge success.

I'll be sending in an application if I get into U of M. Right now I'm at a CC n there's not many people that are aspiring to be on Wall Street. Sounds like a great idea and I'm lovin this site so I'd love to help out if given the chance.
edit: realized the deadline is on Jan. 17th... guess I'm out of this one but I'll keep an eye open for other chances

There is no firm deadline, acceptances to the program are somewhat rolling, however we would like to get a good group working right after the new year. We have already received some great applications, and I will be getting in touch with all who applied in the next few days. Keep sending them in!

Michael,
I am curious, I'm going to be going to CU, which doesn't have huge placement into finance jobs (maybe corpfin, I'm not really up to speed on how well they place), but there's also a private school in Denver (DU) that I think does fairly well. If I did apply would it be possible to be more of a "regional rep", so I could potentially sell to more than one school? Also, I haven't even started business-related coursework and I haven't done any internships, would this be a problem?
Thanks!

Do you guys want applicants from non-targets? A couple students from my university go to BBs every year (I'm one of them this year).
